Commercial Litigation

We are looking for a candidate with experience in litigation ideally of a general or commercial nature as opposed to civil litigation, however we will consider all applicants with Litigation experience for the role.

 The role is to take over an already established caseload of financial litigation files, including;

• Claims against Mortgage Lenders for breach of contract
• Claims against mortgage brokers for mortgage miss-selling
• Claims against the FSCS (financial Services Compensation Scheme)
• Claims for pension miss-selling
• Repossession claims – generally defending repossession action by a lender
• General litigation and breach of contract claims.

 The ideal candidate will be:

• A solicitor, CILEX or Legal Executive – more junior fee earners will be considered however the salary would be lowered to reflect their level of experience.
• Have 3-4 years’ experience of handling their own caseload
• Experience of litigation and the Court process
• Have an understanding of finance and financial agreements
• Have experience of drafting documents
