Construction & Engineering Solicitor

As one of the fastest growing law firms in the North East and as part of their ambitious growth strategy, our client is seeking to recruit a solicitor between  6-10 years pqe to join the Construction & Engineering team. Applicants outside this PQE bracket are still encouraged to apply. 

The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work from different sectors and clients, including employers,contractors, sub-contractors, and lenders. Experience of drafting, negotiating and advising upon building contracts, professional appointments, sub-contracts and associated bonds and warranties required. Working alongside a Partner and an Associate, the successful candidate will be expected to provide support to the wider Real Estate team on development and construction matters and act for clients in contentious matters including adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
