Court of Protection Lawyer

This law firm based in the North East is looking to expand its Court of Protection team by adding a lawyer ideally with at least 4 years of PQE. Whilst candidates at all PQE levels are encouraged to reach out, the ideal candidate would be someone who has regularly handled cases involving brain injuries.

The successful candidate will work on matters such as drafting applications to the Court of Protection, advising families regarding lay deputyship applications, leading meetings with clients and professionals and purchasing properties and adapting properties to meet clients’ needs. Applicants should also have knowledge of care funding options including NHS and local authority funding.
