Court of Protection Solicitor

The firm:

This national law firm now seeks to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor to join its highly rated and specialist Court of Protection team based in Oxford.

The work:

The work is varied and interesting. It will include working on matters where either an individual or the trust corporation is appointed as deputy.  Clients include those who have been catastrophically injured and who need help to administer awards of compensation, elderly clients who have lost capacity, and Office of the Public Guardian panel cases often involving sensitive and contentious issues.  

Your skills and qualifications:

• Have directly relevant previous extensive experience and have the correct level of post qualified experience (PQE) at 4yrs+ or ideally at Grade A level.
• To have a strong commercial acumen and understanding of the industry and business of the client.
• To run and manage your own case load with minimal supervision. 
• To manage and supervise other members of the team.

Flexible/hybrid and part-time working:

The firm offers hybrid working with a preference for 3 (possibly 2) days in the office. Applications from those looking to work part-time are encouraged.
