The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented legal professional to join a dynamic legal team, specialising in handling insurance-related civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing legal firm that operates under a well-established international insurance group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a diverse caseload of BTE (Before the Event) and ATE (After the Event) legal expenses litigation, with a focus on consumer/contract disputes, and property litigation.

- Generate fee-earning revenue and ensure regular billing on active cases.

- Serve as a dedicated point of contact for Legal and Claims teams within the group, providing expert litigation assistance and claims handling.

- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s growth targets.

- Ensure compliance with professional obligations, including adherence to SRA regulations and case management standards.

- Liaise with key support functions for reporting and operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified lawyer (solicitor or legal executive) with expertise in the civil litigation process in England and Wales.

- Experience in insurance-related civil litigation.

- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risks and contribute to the firm’s long-term success.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proficiency in core MS Office products.

- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
