The Role:

An established and reputable law firm in Leicester is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 2-6 years' PQE to join their growing team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, providing high-quality legal advice to both employer and employee clients across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including:

• Unfair dismissal, discrimination, and redundancy cases
• Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies, and procedures
• Negotiating settlement agreements and handling exit strategies
• TUPE advice and handling tribunal claims
• Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients on complex employment issues
• Representing clients at employment tribunals and negotiations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development efforts to further expand the employment law practice

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE in Employment Law
• Experience handling a broad range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and client care abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Proactive in business development and networking activities
