Family Solicitor - Derby

A leading East Midlands law firm, specialising in Criminal Defence, Family Law, Personal Injury, Public Law, and Community Care, is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing team in Derby.

Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and representing clients in various family law matters, with a focus on divorce, private law children, and domestic violence cases. This role includes managing client interactions, performing fee-earning tasks, and providing guidance and support to junior colleagues to enhance the Family Department’s efficiency and success.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years PQE (Post-Qualification Experience) in family law.
• Demonstrated experience handling divorce, private law children, and domestic violence cases.
• Excellent organisational skills with a strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in family law matters, adhering to the firm’s quality standards and legal protocols.
• Participate actively in firm-led training initiatives to promote professional development.
• Contribute to the department's growth by ensuring efficient and profitable practices.
