Law Firm Director & COLP

This progressive Alternative Business Structure (ABS) law firm specialising in private client services, including wills, trusts, probate, and conveyancing is recruiting for a dynamic Lawyer Director who will also serve as our Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and lead the rapid growth of the business.

The company has an expanding active business serving hundreds of repeat clients and are committed to delivering exceptional client service and innovative legal solutions. They have over 600 employees with a turnover of £100m. They currently have over £8bn of client funds under management.

You will be:

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a current and clean practising certificate. STEP accreditation desired.
• Significant experience in private client and property law, with a strong understanding of property, wills, trusts, and probate. Proven experience in a leadership role within a law firm, with a track record of managing teams and complex legal projects.
• Demonstrable experience in regulatory compliance, ideally as a COLP or similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively managing client and stakeholder relationships. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and adapt to changing legal landscapes.
