Leasehold Property Solicitor

This specialist boutique law firm now seeks to recruit a highly organised and enthusiastic leasehold enfranchisement solicitor to join its growing team in North Nottinghamshire.

The role would suit a residential conveyancer, who would like to move into a different area of property law, or someone with the experience detailed below.

This is an opportunity to join and carry out a variety of work for both a mixture of landlord and tenant clients undertaking fee-earning work and providing a profitable contribution to the work of the firm whilst ensuring the successful development of the department and firm.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Right to manage claims under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
• Lease extensions of flats under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and voluntary lease extensions,
• Enfranchisement claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
• Right of first refusal matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
• Leasehold extensions and freehold purchase for houses in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1967
• Deeds of variations to existing leases
• General landlord and tenant advice
