About the Role:

An established and well-regarded solicitors firm in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Property Legal Assistant to join their Conveyancing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in residential property law who is eager to further their career in a busy, client-focused legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Conveyancing team with various residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate the smooth progression of cases.
• Preparing essential legal documents such as contracts, completion statements, and Land Registry applications.
• Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents.
• Providing administrative assistance, including file management and maintaining up-to-date records.
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a residential property or conveyancing setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive and collaborative team player with a passion for delivering excellent client service.
• Knowledge of conveyancing processes and Land Registry protocols is essential.
