Smart Works is a UK Charity that exists to empower all women who need help getting work. They use the power of high quality clothing and one-to-one coaching to help unemployed women to fulfil their potential, get the job and transform their lives.

Smart Works service is delivered by a team of volunteers who are all passionate about supporting women into work.

They work closely with clients to put them at ease, boost their confidence, help them to look and feel their best for their interviews and ensure they are as prepared as possible.

Interview Volunteer

One-to-one personalised coaching , equipping clients with the practical skills they need to succeed at an interview.

Interview volunteers help clients prepare for their interview by focusing on their skills, their confidence and their presentation.  You will need a background in HR, recruitment or senior management to join this programme.  The minimum commitment is one day per month.

If you are unable to commit to one day per month you can apply to be on their list of standby interview volunteers.

The team are well aware of what is happening within the marketplace both locally and on a national scale and you can always rely on them for an intelligent, honest and supportive approach.
